R. Japjee Kaur Kohli is an associate professor and program coordinator of a four-year fashion design program at NIFT, India. Her areas of work include surface ornamentation, traditional embroideries, couture design, bespoke menswear, and craft research and documentation. She holds a doctoral degree in vocational education and training and has been involved in projects that train women artisans in tailoring and appliqué.
