Estonian Braid Cast-Ons: Variations on a Theme Pattern

This method is similar to the long-tail cast-on, but, by switching the position of the yarn on the thumb and consistently twisting the yarns as they change places stitch by stitch, you form a braid below the needle and loops on the needle at the same time.
