Diamond Silk Scarf Knitting Pattern Download

Practice pulling silk into unspun yarn with this simple lace scarf. The diamond pattern shows off the sheen and softness of silk, and the yarn can be pulled very thin for a lacier effect.

Finished Size: 7" (18 cm) wide and 40" (101.5 cm) long.

Yarn: Sportweight (Fine #2) unspun silk fiber, about 1 oz (28 g). See pattern for spinning and preparation instruction.

Yarn Weight: #2 - Fine

Needles: U.S. size 4 (3.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 25 sts and 31 rows = 4" (10 cm) in patt.
