Mary, the plainest but also the most accomplished Bennet sister, would have appreciated the luxurious alpaca yarn and lovely lace pattern that make up this scarf. While perhaps more practical than its counterpart, Lydia's Scarf, it is still feminine enough to be worn with ease by any Austen heroine.

Finished Size 6½" wide and 57" long.

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Tapestry needle.

Gauge 18 sts and 26 rows = 4" in St st, blocked; 20½ sts and 25 rows = 4" in Flutter Lace, after blocking.
