Use the shaped intarsia technique (see knit.wear Spring 2013) along with colorblocking to make a chic knit dress-lightweight thanks to an airy sportweight yarn.

Finished Size: 34 (37, 43, 47, 50)" bust circumference. Tunic shown measures 34", modeled with 2 ½" of positive ease. Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend (70% merino extra fine, 30% silk; 150 yd [135 m]/1 ¾ oz [50 g]): #3031 nickel (MC), 4 (4, 5, 5, 6) skeins; #300G coffee (A), 3 (3, 4, 5, 5) skeins; #300x topaz (B), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers. Yarn Weight: #3 - Light Needles: Size 6 (4 mm): straight and 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
