Harriet's Little Shoulder Shawl Knitting Pattern Download

Knit this shawlette inspired by the "little shawl" that Harriet Smith wore when Emma Woodhouse painted her portrait. It is a delightful little cover, perfect for sitting outdoors on a summer evening. Finished Size: 15" deep at center back, 25" wide along bottom edge of each triangular panel.

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% American wool; 140 yd [128 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): #14 artifact, 4 skeins.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24" or 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 31 rows = 4" in Lace patt.
