Sweet Hearts Reticule Needlework Pattern

Inspired by the small carryalls of Regency times, this sweet little bag features a simple stranded colorwork pattern reminiscent of hearts. Worked in the round from the bottom up, the knitted-on lace edge provides the perfect finishing touch. Finished Size: Yarn: Cascade Yarns 220 Fingering (100% Peruvian Highland wool; 273 yd [250 m]/13/4 oz [50 g]): #8010 natural (MC) and #9478 cotton candy (CC), 1 skein each.

Needles: Size 2 (2.75 mm): set of 4 or 5 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Size C/2 (2.75 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 35 sts and 41 rnds = 4" in charted patt, after blocking.
