These four silk-ribbon embroidery designs are inspired by a Victorian-era cape in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Embroidery artist Deanna Hall West selected four flowers from the original piece—marguerite daisies, forget-me-nots, rosebuds, and fuchsias—and created a design for each, complete with bonus insights on the language of flowers.
These beautiful designs were published over a year’s worth of PieceWork magazine issues, but now you can get them all in one place. Enjoy exploring silk-ribbon embroidery and bringing texture and dimension into your home with this special collection.
