Cassandra's Tea Cozy Knitting Pattern

Knit this jubilant tea cozy that will keep a warm pot of tea at the ready and in style. Make this tea pot cozy in beautiful floral toned colors to heighten its visual appeal. Finished Size: 181/2" circumference and 71/4" tall, excluding ruffle and flowers.

Yarn: Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted (85% wool, 15% mohair; 190 yd [174 m]/4 oz [113 g]): #M-01 sandy heather (MC), #M-205 grassy knoll (CC), 1 skein each; #M-22 autumn harvest, #M-145 spice, #M-183 rosando rose, #M-140 aran, #M174 wild mustard, 1 skein each.

Needles: Tea cozy—sizes 6 (4 mm), 7 (4.5 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 16" circular (cir). Flowers—size 7 (4.5 mm): double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); stitch holders; cable needle; tapestry needle; Size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook (optional); 1/4" ribbon.

Gauge: 26 sts and 32 rows = 4" in cable patt on smallest needle.
