When thinking of what to design, the muff was an accessory that was interesting and a bit frivolous, too. Muffs of the Regency period were characteristically made from fur or silk and were quite large. I chose a chunky yarn and the leaf pattern to give the muff depth and texture. My goal was to create a beautiful and functional accessory.
