In the images that Bianca Boonstra found of Jan in the archives of the marathons that he skated, he always wore his sweater and hat. She used Lang Yarns Yak in her re-creation of the sweater and hat, a wonderful yarn with which to work, with a beautiful warm sweater and hat as result, which you surely will enjoy. This is the hat pattern, but there is also a matching sweater pattern.
