Yarn: SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock (80% superwash Merino wool, 20% nylon; 425 yd [389 m]/4 oz [115 g]): saffron, 2 skeins (see Notes).

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24" or 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Markers (m); size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook; tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 sts and 27 rows = 4" in St st.
