LoginThis muffler is knitted in a mesh stitch that will trap pockets of warm air, making it a warm scarf to wear. The resulting fabric is soft and fluid, allowing the muffler to mold itself to the wearer and be wrapped and tied as wished.

Finished Size: 8" high and 60" wide (excluding fringe), blocked.
Specific Yarn Used: Berroco Ultra Alpaca (50% alpaca, 50% wool; 215 yd [198 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #6293 spiceberry mix (A), 2 skeins; #6253 Dijon (B), 1 skein. Without fringe, muffler requires only 1 skein of each color.
Needles: Size 8 (5 mm): 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rows = 4" in St st; 16 sts and 26 rows = 4" in Eyelet Mesh patt, after blocking.
