The Tam O’Shanter Knitting Pattern

The circular cast-on produces a beautiful edge, and the elasticity of this cast-on method helps the tam fit better. The body is worked in a Fair Isle pattern, and the tam gets its distinctive shape from how it's washed and blocked.
