M. Montgomery. The Modern Afternoon Apron with a 1912 Lace Edging may be sewn by machine or by hand. Enjoy making and wearing a vintage-inspired Modern Afternoon Apron of your own!
Materials Needed
Finished size: 16½ inches (41.9 cm) long and about 32 inches (81 cm) wide; waistband measures about 19½ inches (49 cm) across, with ties about 38 inches (96 cm) long
Gauge: Larger edging, about 4½ inches (11 cm) wide; 9 to 10 rows in patt st = 4 inches (10.2 cm) length; smaller edging, 3 motifs = 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide x 5 inches (12.7 cm) length; gauge is not critical for this project as fabric will be cut to fit blocked measurements of finished edging
