The knitting is an adventurous combination of Fair Isle, open rib, and slip-stitch textures, with beads interspersed in the Fair Isle and along the bands of the neck, front and back panels, and lower edges. Finished Size: Lower band, 38¾ inches (98.4 cm) circumference; length, about 20 inches (51 cm); sides are completely open to allow for a range of bust sizes
Yarn: Handmaiden Swiss Silk, 100% silk yarn, fingering weight, 437 yards (399.6)/100 gram (3.5 oz) skein, 1 skein each of Wine (A), Brown Sugar (B), Beet (C)
Needles: Circular, 24 inches (61.0 cm), size 2 (2.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Tapestry needle; scrap yarn for holders; removable marker; stitch markers; crochet hook, steel, size 11, for beads
Gauge: 29 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in Fair Isle patt; 28 sts = 4 inches (10.2 cm) and 20 rows = 1¼ inches (3.2 cm) in sl st garter patt
