Carol Huebscher Rhoades shares an easy way to feel cozy and pampered with her pattern for the oh-so-practical traditional Scandinavian everyday socks. Carol’s choice of yarn, however, takes her pair up a notch to oh-so-luxurious.

  • Finished Size: 8¾" foot circumference and 9¼" long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable.
  • Yarn: Blacker Yarns Samite Silk Blend (40% Shetland wool, 30% blue-faced Leicester wool, 20% ahimsa silk, 10% Gotland wool; 503 yd [460 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): tide of dreams, 1 skein.
  • Needles: Size 0 (2 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
  • Notions: Markers (m); tapestry needle.
  • Gauge: 33 sts and 44 rnds = 4" in St st.
