Mary's Rose Camisole to Crochet Needlework Pattern

This camisole is inspired by the Rose Yoke that my great great grandmother Mary Ann (MacLeod) Worth created in the 1900s. While Mary's lacework yoke is made of very, very fine thread, this camisole is updated, modernized. Featuring a similar modified rose on the front and a similar leaf pattern on the back, it's meant to echo Mary's own piece. Yarn: Louet Euroflax Sport, 100% linen yarn, sportweight, 270 yards (246.9 m)/100 gram (3.5 oz) skein, 3 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5) skeins of Champagn

Needles: Crochet hooks, sizes C/2 (2.75 mm) and E/4 (3.5 mm) or sizes needed to obtain gauge, and steel, size 4 (2 mm)

Notions: Locking stitch markers, Tapestry needle

Finished Size: 27&frac12 (31, 34&frac34, 36&frac12, 40, 43&frac12, 48) inches (69.8 [78.7, 88.3, 92.7, 101.6, 110.5, 121.9] cm) bust circumference

Gauge: 25 sts and 25 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in sc through back lp on size E/4 (3.5 mm) hook, after washing; 9 boxes and 10 rows = 4 inches (10.2 cm) in filet-crochet patt on size C/2 (2.75 mm) hook, after washing
