This year’s Twelve Months of On-the-Go Projects, created by members of our PieceWork team, is our way of thanking our All Access subscribers for being such valued members of our community. Each of the upcoming monthly patterns was designed to be quick, fun, and portable. The projects will encompass a variety of crafts, so that you can sample an array of different techniques year-round.
My craft of choice is definitely quilting. However, I don’t always have time to make a full-sized quilt.
I designed this quick pot holder project to match my Fiestaware dishes—but I suggest raiding your fabric stash to see what color combinations strike your fancy.
Even if you already have too many pot holders, chances are good that some of them could use replacing. This project also makes a thoughtful housewarming or host/hostess gift for someone else.
I’m quicker with a sewing machine than I am with a needle and thread, although I did hand-quilt my pot holder. Doing all the sewing by hand makes this project easily portable.
A festive Fiestaware-inspired pot holder!
