Terry Konrath is a documentary photographer who often focuses her lens on endangered folk arts and craft traditions. She is part of the “Slow Movement,” a cultural philosophy that emphasizes working at an eased pace to promote a sense of personal connection with her subjects rather than the hurried and quick interactions of digital speed. She still uses a 35 mm analogue film camera. She has been awarded several artist-in-residencies, including the Ross Lynn Foundation and the Whirlybird Foundation. Her work was featured in a 2023 solo exhibition at the Meadows Museum in Dallas, Texas.
